Abstract architectural landscape representing new perfume geographies

New Perfume Geographies

Parfumographe is an international platform mapping the cultures, creators and markets reshaping contemporary perfumery.

Perfume has always had a geography.

For generations, a relatively small number of European centres defined much of the language, authority and commercial structure of modern fine fragrance. Today, that map is expanding.

New brands, creative communities, markets and cultural references are emerging across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas and within Europe itself. Parfumographe exists to document, interpret and connect these changing perfume geographies.

We are interested not only in what is being launched, but in where ideas are coming from, how new fragrance cultures are forming and which people, places and markets are beginning to influence the industry.

What we do

Media
We document the cultural and creative shifts shaping contemporary perfumery through editorial stories, interviews and field observations.

Intelligence
We map brands, markets, buyers, movements and emerging centres of influence.

Exhibitions & Salon
We create curated formats that bring fragrance into dialogue with art, culture and place — and connect creators, brands, buyers, journalists and institutions.

Market Entry
We work selectively with fragrance houses entering new markets and cultural geographies, helping them understand context, positioning and relevant networks.

Current Focus: Asia

Asia is currently one of the most dynamic chapters in the changing geography of perfume.

A new generation of founders, independent houses, retailers and audiences is developing distinct fragrance languages across Japan, South Korea, China, India and Southeast Asia.

Parfumographe follows this movement closely.

But Asia is not the boundary of the project.

It is the first major chapter of a broader map.

Our perspective

We believe perfume should be understood not only as a product, but as a cultural form.

It carries geography, memory, material, ritual, identity and imagination.

Parfumographe approaches fragrance through this wider lens — connecting culture, creation and industry.

We don’t cover perfume.
We map where perfume is going.
